Sound familiar?

Does any of this sound like you?

None of these is careless. Each one works only while you are around to explain it.

“My partner already knows where everything is.”

They may know the main accounts well. The older ones, and the details behind them, are often only in your head.

“It’s all kept in a spreadsheet.”

Fine for the person who built it, but anyone else has to know it exists, where it is saved and when was the last time it was updated.

“I’m the one who handles all the paperwork.”

That makes you the only copy, because the knowledge behind it is not written down somewhere or it is hard to find.

“I have a few old pensions somewhere.”

Remembering that a pension exists is easy. Remembering the provider, scheme name and reference is much harder.

“It’s all in my password manager.”

A list of logins is not a list of what you own, because pensions, policies and paper records may never appear in it.

“I’ll sort it out properly one day.”

It is tedious, has no deadline, feels like admin and so it can wait. That is why this page asks you to start with one account, not a project.

“

I would have liked everything to be in one space. It would have made things so much easier for my family.

respondents were not confident that someone else could find everything easily.

The same group rated their own preparedness at 7.3 out of 10 on average.

The real problem

The problem is not one missing document. It is that nothing lives in one place.

The information usually exists. It is spread across apps, provider websites, paper folders, old emails and one person’s memory. That works while you are there. It stops working the moment someone else has to piece it together.

“There isn’t a single place where I can manage all my financial accounts.”

From scattered to findable

The first thing someone needs is not your password.
It is knowing what exists.

SuccessionKeeper records which organisation holds each account, pension, policy or important document, plus the context that helps someone know where to start.

We hold the map, not the keys.

One clear record for your important information

What the record preserves

What exists

Bank, pension, insurer, investment, crypto, or important document.

Where it is held

Provider, former employer, storage location, solicitor or estate planner.

What explains it

Notes, contacts and supporting documents that preserve the context.

Never required

What stays out

Bank passwords, provider logins and any way to move your money.

A practical map of your financial life, without becoming a password store.

Useful from day one

Your financial life, in one private view.

Add what you hold and see it laid out the same day, with the paperwork attached and your own notes beside it. You decide what goes in.

SuccessionKeeper Accounts overview grouped by type, country and liquidity

See it all together

Accounts, pensions and policies in one list, grouped by type, country, currency and how quickly you could reach them.

Attach the paperwork

Attach statements and policy schedules to the account they belong to, instead of keeping them in a folder somewhere else.

Add your own notes

Record the context only you have: who looks after it, employer associated with the pension accounts, years worked, portal to log in, email addresses, why you chose it and what to check at renewal.

Decide with clarity

See where money sits and when each entry was last updated, then decide what to do, with your adviser if you have one.

For you and your family

Organised for you, and for your family.

You keep one record. It helps you now, and it helps your family if they ever need to step in.

For you

Today

A clear picture of what you hold, kept in one place. When an adviser, mortgage broker or accountant asks, you can answer from one record and download your data to share it.

For your household

Today

Link your household account and your partner can see the same record, view only. Nobody has to ask where the pension paperwork is kept.

For your family

If needed

Name as many nominees as you like, one of them your primary. Nothing reaches them while you keep responding. If you ever stop, they receive a structured summary, so the people you name, your children included, know where to start.

Common questions

Questions people ask before they start

How much do I need to add?

Start with one account or document. You can add the rest over time, at your own pace, and account numbers and balances are optional.

What if I am simply away or unwell?

Nothing is released to the nominees while you are still responding. Your primary nominee is asked to remind you to log in, and logging in at any point stops the process.

Who can I name as a nominee?

Family, executors, trustees or advisers. Everyone you include receives the same structured summary, and nobody receives a login.

Where is my information kept?

Encrypted with AES-256 and hosted in the UK. We never store provider passwords or bank logins.

Do I still need a will?

Yes. A will says who inherits, while SuccessionKeeper records where things are held. They do different jobs and work well together.

Can my partner and I use it together?

Yes. Household account linking is available.

What does it cost, and can I leave?

£4 a month or £39 a year (saves £9) after a 14-day free trial. No card to start. Close your account and download your data at any time.

Is this financial or legal advice?

No. SuccessionKeeper provides record-keeping tools and general information. It does not provide financial, tax or legal advice.
