About Us
How the Idea Began
The idea for SuccessionKeeper came during what should have been a routine flight. Sudden, violent turbulence raised an unsettling question: If something happened to me right now, would my family know where everything is?
Would my wife know about all the accounts I manage? Would my children be protected from confusion and stress?
That moment passed - but the questions didn't.
Around the same time, Deyan shared a similar observation: many people want a simple, private way to organise their financial information for themselves - in one place - before or alongside professional support.
We recognised a gap: a platform that helps individuals stay organised and prepared, while maintaining privacy, control, and discretion over their personal financial information.
SuccessionKeeper was built for people who want to take control early - long before writing a will feels necessary. In the UK, the average age of writing a will is around 59, yet life changes long before then. Waiting to write a will shouldn't mean waiting to get organised.

Peter brings deep experience in financial systems, risk, and long-term planning, shaped by senior roles at BlackRock and within the investment advisory teams of Apollo and Lone Star Funds.
SuccessionKeeper was born from his belief that financial organisation should be proactive, not reactive - and that protecting loved ones starts long before urgency forces action. Having lived and worked across the US, continental Europe, and now the UK, Peter understands first-hand how fragmented financial lives can become across borders.
He leads product vision and strategy, ensuring SuccessionKeeper remains practical, secure, and respectful of user privacy.
Deyan brings deep experience across architecture, construction, and software design, shaped by over two decades of real-world delivery. He is the founder of a software development consultancy serving clients such as Amazon and Autodesk, where security, reliability, and trust are non-negotiable.
SuccessionKeeper reflects his belief that well-designed technology should be calm, dependable, and respectful of sensitive information. Years of working with high-stakes clients have reinforced a focus on clarity over complexity, and on systems that quietly do their job without demanding attention.

Our Purpose
SuccessionKeeper was created to solve a quiet but growing problem: when financial information is scattered across emails, files, and institutions, it becomes difficult - and sometimes impossible - for loved ones to step in when it matters most.
Modern life has made finances more complex, yet access to essential information still relies on memory, paperwork, or assumptions. SuccessionKeeper provides a structured, secure way to bring clarity and continuity to your financial life - at your own pace, without pressure or intrusion.
Our Mission
To provide individuals with a secure, unified platform to organise their financial lives and ensure their loved ones can access essential information at the critical moment.
Why SuccessionKeeper Exists
SuccessionKeeper is not about moving money, offering advice, or replacing financial institutions. Instead, it acts as a secure vault - helping individuals clearly document what they have, where it's held, and who should know.
By combining strong encryption, thoughtful design, and gentle prompts to stay updated, SuccessionKeeper ensures financial information remains accurate, accessible, and ready when it's needed most.
Built With Responsibility
We believe that building long-term products comes with a responsibility to think beyond the platform itself.
We believe in giving back. That's why 5% of our profits go to charities working to improve the lives of children.
